A growing machinery manufacturer are looking for an experience Service Manager to manage a team of Service Engineers across the UK. Being responsible for the overall management of the engineering division, management of the Engineers, implement strategies and procedures to maximum the machinery output and service to customers. You will have a strong Service Management background with excellent management and implementation of procedures. An understanding of capital equipment machinery is desirable.

As a Service Manager your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

Reporting into the Managing Director and working closely with the Technical Specialist.
Managing a team of Service Engineer across the UK, supporting on development, allocation of work and man management.
Ensure that all machines are being installed correctly and working to the customer needs a requirements.
Implement a preventative maintenance schedule to suit the customers needs.
Manage reactive maintenance to machinery to support the Engineers work load.
Develop, modify and improve maintenance procedures.
Effective communication with internal departments and any feedback on machines to improve machinery output and success.
Update maintenance records and relevant documentation are kept up to date and retrievable for internal use.
Management of the Service Engineer team, conducting regular meetings, training and development of Engineers.
Recommend continuous improvement methods to improve and enhance the service provided.
An exciting opportunity for a Service Manager with the following.

HNC or Apprentice trained Service Manager with understanding of capital equipment machinery or similar environments.
Strong management of Engineers and managing remotely across the UK.
Confident of implement polices, procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.
A understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance and working with hydraulics, pneumatic, PLC's, HMI's and drives.
Positive thinking and self-motivated individual with good communication skills.
