Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Quality Manager. You will provide leadership, advice and support to the business on all matters relating to quality management.

Rate:                    £65p/hr UMB
Location:             Warrington
Duration:             6-12 months initially

Key requirements:

Supports the Business Director by producing the quality strategy for their business area,
gaining agreement and sponsorship from the senior management team and in alignment
with the Cavendish Nuclear Quality Strategy.
Provides coaching, advice and support at all levels of the business, ensuring successful
delivery of quality plan(s) in line with agreed targets.
Supports the SSHEQR Director and Senior Quality Manager in defining
processes, plans for quality and proposes quality targets  
 
Experience Required:

Science/Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification) plus experience.
A proven track record preferably gained within a similar role in the Nuclear or
other highly regulated high hazard industry.
Good working knowledge of the Customers quality requirements where appropriate.
Good working knowledge and application of ISO9001 (and ISO17025 where
relevant).
Good working knowledge of the Nuclear industry.
Good working knowledge of all relevant quality standards and requirements.  
The successful candidate will be required to obtain BPSS/SC check
