Pertemps are looking for a Manual Lathe Operator to join a well established manufacturing company based in Coventry
This is a permanent role with a salary of £26K.
The role will include varied tasks from operating a lathe machine, making parts for high spec cars. The role requires manual milling, turning and grinding and you will be using a Bridgeport machine. Using both aluminium and mild steel. Role would be ideal for a time served machinist who has operated machines that aren't CNC or have their own workshop. You will also need to be able to work to CAD drawings
Hours are Monday to Friday 08.30-16.30 but company can be flexible if you need to work part time.

Display a positive and proactive attitude to health and safety, ensuring you lead by example following BMDS S4/S5 and Safety Conversation systems
Maintain professionalism, give clear instructions and constructive feedback to the team
members.
Liaise with customers to understand their requirements for deliveries. Record any changes to delivery details and feedback to the transport and customer services team to ensure successful deliveries first time
