Milk Education are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work throughout Key Stage 1 and 2 in a Special Educational Needs Primary school based in Toxteth, Liverpool. All of the children in this setting currently hold an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) and have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The role is a long-term, full-time position with working hours from 8:30-3:30pm. The successful candidate must have experience of working with children who have additional needs. Personal care will be required on a 2-1 or 3-1 basis. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake all activities as required during their time at the school and be able to get stuck in working as part of a team as well as being able to use initiative.

What you need to apply for the role of Learning Support Assistant:

* Previous experience working with children, or young adults, with ASD and complex needs (Voluntary experience welcome)
* Confidence dealing with pupils with different abilities and SEND requirements
* Good interpersonal and communicational skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this)
* Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children
