A fantastic opportunity has emerged with leading construction contractor with a well-established reputation in the D&B marketplace, now looking for a Commercial Manager.

My client currently turns over £900million and require this candidate to be the Commercial Lead on schemes ranging from £40million to £120million in value, mainly on London centric projects.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years' experience working for a top 20 main contractor and a previous track record of working in previous senior roles, financially managing high value projects.

Brief responsibilities include:

Provide commercial support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
Liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments
Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans, along with the commercial performance and strategy of the project
Ensure that any main contracts entered into have terms and conditions that are appropriate
for the company, with commercial risks identified
Depending on the calibre of the candidate, my client will look to pay up to £100k plus package and bonus.
