SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Coventry based manufacturing business in the recruitment of an assistant accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking an ambitious individual who is looking to progress within their studies to become a fully qualified accountant in the long term.

This is a hands on role encompassing a wide range of duties from transactional to supporting the finance manager with month end and audit and developing your skills and experience within the role.

- Processing purchase invoices & credit notes
- Processing supplier payments
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Weekly reporting on creditors due for payment
- Raising sales invoices & credit notes
- Processing weekly/monthly customer statements
- Weekly reporting on outstanding debt
- Posting and allocating customer receipts
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Management and posting of all Credit card transactions
- Assist in month end
- Assisting with external Auditors
