They are seeking a H&S Advisor role working as part of the team. The successful H&S Advisor will play a key role in supporting the management systems, delivering QHSE inductions and safety training to staff, conducting risk assessments, audits and helping to promote a positive culture whilst ensuring the company adheres to all current legislation, policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Promote a positive H&S culture throughout the company and supply chain..
Monitor and review site performance through inspections and audits.
Assist and participate in the highlighting of health-related risks and training,
Ensure H&S Risk assessments and COSHH documentation are maintained.
Ensure safety related training is kept up to date.
Ensure any relevant changes in legislation and environmental, safety techniques are communicated and implemented throughout the Company and Supply Chain.
IOSH & NEBOSH qualified
Knowledge or understanding of current health and safety legislation
Strong IT and numeracy skills, familiar with Word and Excel
Experience carrying out site inspections/audits
Manufacturing / Engineering / Production background
ISO 14001 & 9001 experience
