F Howkins and Son is a family business started in the 1940’s by Frank Howkins and has evolved under the ownership of his son and a small team of loyal and long standing employees.

We are looking for an Experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our busy, long established garage business and M.O.T testing centre, based near Lutterworth.

This role will involve:

* Technical knowledge and experience with either car/light and /or heavy vehicle maintenance and repair including fault diagnosis

* MOT preparation and safety inspection.

* Basic diagnosis of technical faults on vehicles utilising diagnostic equipment

* Fitment of parts to cars

* Servicing of cars

* Tyre fitting

The successful applicant will have a wide range of experience working on multiple vehicle makes and be able to work part of our long serving team in a very busy environment, with a loyal customer base.
