Excellent clinical and product support for a strong salespersonTHE COMPANY: Due to continued growth and a number of large NHS contract wins, there is a need for an experienced technical salesperson to drive the growth of the Therapeutic Apheresis division in this company. They have an established warm customer base with excellent understanding of customer purchasing process as well as key relationships across NHS and private customers. The BDM will be well supported by strong clinical and product specialists to upskill them on technical knowledge within Apheresis and blood cell collection. They need a very driven and effective business development manager to open doors and utilise stakeholder relationships within key NHs and private centres. The foundations are in place to really grow market share within this sector and double the current revenue with a competent capital equipment salesperson in place.
THE ROLE: The successful Business Development Manager will be centrally based ideally and we happy with regular travel, some overnight stays and work across the whole of the UK and Ireland. The customer engagement in this role is vast and varied so someone who has touched on many stakeholders within a hospital or who has worked in a niche area of medical devices such as Renal Therapy would transfer well. The solutions they sell include capital equipment, bespoke consumables and service maintenance plans so the opportunity to develop revenue is huge. If you do not have a pervious background in this therapy area but have excellent technical aptitude and have a proven track record in medical cap ex sales, this may be a good fit as you will be given through training on products, customers and medicine area from the team around you. This candidate must be accountable and driven and happy working in a small, passionate, team in a specialist area of healthcare.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:
A technically competent capex salesperson with experience of selling to specialist therapy areas in the NHS
OR a Renal/Nephrology/Apheresis nurse with some proven commercial/sales experience in field OR
A medical device sales person with an educational background related to this field of blood transfusion and apheresis.
Full driving licence and happy travelling daily to see customers.
THE PACKAGE FOR TBM:
Basic: up to £50,000 basic
