The Supplier TPI Consultant is a full-time, permanent position located in our Central London or Nottingham office with an annual salary up to £65,000 DOE, including 10% variable bonus and an excellent benefits package. We will also afford an element of remote working.

Job Purpose

The Supplier TPI Consultant will be part of the companys Data and Advisory Team, working within the energy industry to determine, assess and develop solutions to industry problems, and deliver expert consultancy and advice in line with the company’s corporate growth strategy.

Main purpose of job

The Data and Advisory teams work together to assess the market and through insight develop and deliver innovative solutions to a wide range of energy industry participants including Networks, Suppliers, Third Party Intermediaries, Code Parties and Regulators. The successful applicant will have expert knowledge of the Supplier TPI market and will have developed successful relationships with these parties.

The role will require a flexible approach; to be externally market focused and understand industry needs, to collaborate with colleagues internally to develop new products and services and to generate company revenues. The successful applicant will embrace the company culture, values, and behaviours.

The main objectives of the Supplier/TPI Consultant will be to:

* Interact with external stakeholders involved in Supplier/TPI arrangements to obtain insights as to collective and individual problem areas.

* Identify workable solutions to industry problems that involve the provision of ernal data the company and external sources and advisory services.

* Develop, and present business cases to relevant Boards within the business to obtain approvals for new product and service development.

* Deliver successful new products and services to market and develop sales and marketing plans in conjunction with other internal support functions.

* Produce specific proposals when required to deliver consultancy work packages

* Respond to bids and industry consultations where expert Supplier/TPI knowledge is required.

* Gain a detailed knowledge of the client’s data and other advisory offerings to ensure that whilst developing customer relationships, additional sales opportunities are identified.

Principal Skills & Experience

The successful applicant should demonstrate knowledge and skills as follows:

* Broad knowledge of UK electricity and/or gas markets including knowledge of industry governance arrangements

* Have extensive experience of working or consulting in Supplier/TPI arrangements

* Consultancy skills including strong stakeholder engagement, assignment scoping and delivery.

* Communication – excellent verbal and written communication at all levels.

* Ability to build enduring relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

* Flexibility – picking up new knowledge quickly and identifying sales opportunities outside of the specific Supplier/TPI field

* Influencing regulators and industry parties to ensure optimal working practices are in place to ensure that end customers are offered the maximum protection.

* Organisation skills – working independently on a number of different work streams, setting clear work plans and meeting milestones.

* Flexible – able to work in a number of potentially non-related areas at any given time requiring a disciplined approach to the re-prioritisation of deliverables
