Behaviour Support Assistant

Prospero Teaching are working with several Alternative Provisions around the Salisbury area area who are looking for Support Assistants who can work closely with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

Provisions we are working with are looking for staff who can start ASAP and looking to build a career in education.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

Be resilient to challenging behaviour
Be able to show empathy to vulnerable students
Have a strong background working with Primary and Secondary aged children
Be able to work full-time school hours term time only Mon to Friday 8.30-3:30pm
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)Contract/Position details

Hours: 8.30am-3:30pm
The minimum rate of pay - £10.86 per hourTo be eligible:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related referencesOther
