Claims Handler

Type of Role: Permanent, Full Time/Part Time
Salary: £18,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Location of Office: Penarth, Cardiff, CF64 1SA
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5

About the Job

- They're seeking to recruit a motivated, professional, and dedicated Claims Handler to join their team
- You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional service to their clients concerning any claims issues
- Your main task is to liaise with insurers and other interested parties to process the claim effectively and efficiently

Your Role

- Advise and update clients about discussions/events during their claim
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction by regularly assessing the status of open claims
- Efficiently running both Commercial and Personal Lines claims whilst keeping the records updated with all relevant information
- You will have open conversations with your Line Manager about your cases and opportunities build and maintain your insurance, legislation, and other technical knowledge
- Balance your workload to service the client promptly and expertly
- You will have good administrative skills, be task focused with a desire to develop your career with the company

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

- Being educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Experience of dealing with customers and working in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills is essential for this role
- Proficient in MS Office
- Eligible to work in the UK
