A Senior Embedded Software Engineer comfortable with Bare metal and/or Linux multithreaded Embedded C Programming, will join a thriving Technology business, a renowned name in the Satellite Communications market. You’ll bring a minimum of 5 years relevant industrial experience, a good Degree and a passion for Embedded Software development.

A competitive salary package will be offered and up to 2 days work from home.

The successful Senior Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop and test software using a range of programming languages and platforms; being confident working within a high pressure environment and able to multi-task where needed and supervise junior engineers.

To be part of the Embedded Software team you will bring:

* A minimum of a Degree qualification in a STEM subject.

* Proven bare metal and/or Linux multithreaded Embedded C programming.

* Linux and bare metal driver interfacing to 12C, SPI, RS232/85, CAN.

* Microchip PIC 18/32 or similar.

* Hardware and board level debug.

* Networking in TCP/IP.

* JavaScript, HTML.

* Some team leadership skills.
