Looking to recruit an adult’s commissioner with experience of older adults/adults with disabilities/adults’ community health/reablement. Lead projects, commissions, or improvement programmes, and contribute to the delivery of larger programmes of work.
Identify and interpret issues, trends, and problems, which may have a broad impact both within the Council/CCG and for partner organisations, resolving these as appropriate and escalating complex problems if necessary.
We want you to play an active role in supporting our high performing, creative and flexible team to meet the enormous opportunities and challenges which lie ahead. This will include implementing the national agenda and local strategies that aim to integrate services and embed strengths and asset-based approaches to care.
Prepare and present a full range of reports (both standard and non-standard) covering area of responsibility.
Develop good working relationships and communicate effectively with internal / external organisations / partners and stakeholders. Represent specialist area internally and / or externally. Model, demonstrate and promote good practice relevant to the role.
Advise Directors, Members, and others on issues relevant to the service area. Provide professional challenge and advice to colleagues, managers, and partner organisations.
Ensure the development and delivery of continuous improvements in all aspects of the service.
Act in accordance with all policies and procedures which apply to the job and understand the reasons for this.
