Are you a highly motivated and experienced supply chain and customer service leader looking to join a highly entrepreneurial and successful market leader supplying prestige car, tuning and crash repair parts with a global reach?
We are seeking a Supply Chain and Customer Service Lead to report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and play a vital role in driving strategy to improve the quality and speed of their supply chain and customer services operations.
As the Supply Chain and Customer Service Lead, you will take charge in the absence of the Head of Supply Chain, leading a team of 3 front-line staff and coaching them to achieve exceptional customer service. You'll roll up your sleeves and get involved, responding to customer help desk tickets, working with suppliers to resolve issues, and controlling costs.
You'll review management information, drive measurable service improvements, and identify new growth opportunities. You'll build strong relationships with other stakeholders to optimise outcomes and ensure that the costs of failure are minimal. You'll also be the point of escalation for customers who aren't satisfied with initial resolution proposals, always looking for ways to improve.
To excel in this role, you'll need to bring your A-game. First and foremost, a good grasp of the English language is a must. You'll also need at least five years of experience in an internet-based business selling globally. But it's not just about the experience; you'll also need exceptional communication and negotiation skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and think on your feet.
Experience in supply chain activities such as sourcing, warehousing and transportation will be required. You'll need a proven track record of achievement, problem-solving and cost-effectiveness.
You should be able to prioritise and plan your team's workload and be passionate about providing excellent customer service. A professional but flexible outlook is a must, as well as being familiar with up-to-date customer interaction methods such as web chat and bot.
