Children’s Home Registered Manager

Hours of work: 40 hours per week (which may include occasional evening or weekends)

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Location: Croydon

The applicant must be able to submit their Ofsted application for registered manager to Ofsted along with the company registration to Ofsted.

To develop and grow this new service we are looking for a strong, dedicated, and ambitious manager, who is passionate about working with children and young people creating a safe, comfortable, and caring home environment.

Complying with the Children’s Home Regulation 2015, Quality Standards, Ofsted inspection framework, local authority’s expectations, and the home Statement of Purpose. A manager to make a difference supporting the children/young people to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure the Statement of Purpose is in place and is appropriate to the service provision.

To be responsible for the day-to-day running of this new home, its service delivery, shaping and growth, as well as promoting a safe and supportive environment ensuring the best possible care is always delivered to the children and young people.

To lead and manage a team in the Children’s Home and supervise the delivery of placement plans, risk assessments and behavioral management plans for the children and young people in the home.

To provide high quality care services that actively support the varying needs of the children and young people in the care of the home.

To provide motivational leadership and be a role model to the staff team and maintain the smooth running of the home To be responsible for the health & safety and home maintenance

To ensure all records required by OFSTED are compiled and kept safely
