Apply on Partner SiteHere at RC Fornax, We're currently looking for a Lead Hardware Engineer with experience in high performance digital hardware design for an inital 6 month contract Outside IR35.
You will already an expert in your field, you have extensive knowledge in the areas of mixed signal ADC/DAC and FPGA based design to execute high performance signal processing, communications and control.
You will get the opportunity to further develop these skills and take part in the design of exciting new products.
These products form a key part of the self-protection systems installed on fast jet, UAV, land and naval platforms
Skills + Qualifications:
You should ideally have a degree (2.1 or above) in Electronic Engineering, Physics whilst a related MSc, PhD or EngD would be desirable but not essential.
Significant experience of the Mentor design tools suite is essential.
Having the spoken and written communication skills to express these concepts to a wider audience.
In addition to analytical skills you are equally comfortable in a test lab and have considerable practical knowledge of digital test methods and equipment,
Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of our work, any candidate any candidate being considered must have 5 years UK residency
In addition the candidate must be capable of achieving full SC security clearance to enable access to UK Eyes Only and ITAR export control information.
Location:
This is based in Luton, hybrid working may be considered but due to the high security nature of the project, onsite working will be required
