Apply on Partner SiteWe are currently looking for a Project Manager - Process Pipework to join our busy team in Somerset.
You will work directly with the Operations Director to facilitate and deliver process and pipework projects on time and to budget, whilst nurturing a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the Mechanical business. To evaluate large scale complex opportunities and work with the Operations Director to identify our primary revenue opportunities and coordinate internal and Group resources to deliver compliant and successful tender returns. To provide customer quotations based upon scope of works documents and site visits as necessary. ensuring that all tasks and activities are performed to satisfy Quality Plans and Specifications, in accordance with company policies, procedures, UK Regulations and Client requirements.
To be successful in this role adi are looking for a project management professional, well versed in process and Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will be a self motivated and driven individual and will be looking to join a team of like minded people. The individual must thrive on the challenge of being a part of a high performing team.
Project Manager Duties:
To take active responsibility for Managing the day to day activity of your Project Portfolio.
Work with the Leadership team to expand and grow revenue stream and UK opportunities
Quote and secure revenue streams whilst effectively Managing available labour to exceed profit plans and expectations.
To identify opportunities for new disciplines, new revenue streams or new market sectors that can support adi’s growth strategy.
Work with the Leadership team to assess and evaluate new business opportunities.
Identify and secure new clients/sites for adi
Build relationships and develop them as long term business partnerships.
Plan and Project Manage the delivery of all quoted works in conjunction with the Operations Director.
Project Manager Requirements:
Membership of a relevant certified body or possession of an appropriate Management Qualification
Time served trade apprenticeship ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering with Project management qualification
CAD capable
Experience in a similar role within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of best practice in respect of both Financial and Operational Management
Sound judgement and decision making capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience of building strong relationships both internal and external
Experience of customer and stakeholder Management
Demonstrate ability to create and maintain Engineering drawings
Demonstrate Health and Safety Awareness
Understand Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Experience of working in the food and beverage industry
Experience of successful Management of large budget projects within tight financial circumstances and in a competitive environment
Experience of successfully securing large revenue projects in a competitive environment
Experience in setting/contributing to strategy
Experience of effective policy development
