A fantastic opportunity has become available with one of our world-famous utilities companies for a Software Developer Engineer in Test to join our client on their journey to deliver to their customers in a reliable and efficient way.

Role: Software Developer Engineer in Test

Location: Wokingham (2 days per week)

Rate: £550.00 - £600.00 through umbrella

Duration: 12 months

As Quality engineer, you will design, create, document, implement and maintain test scripts for complex on-demand and integration application.

You will understand the architect and implement automated testing as a default act, while needing to have a strong background in Java Object-oriented programming concepts and constructs.

Skills and Experience:

Experience in delivering the Engineering application using Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong experience in testing and automating webservices (REST API's) using Cucumber, REST-assured, TesTNG and Jenkins
Strong experience of UI automation using Cucumber, selenium, TesTNG and Jenkins
Strong experience in automation scripting language such as Java, Python
Exposure to MuleSoft platform or experience of automating MuleSoft services using MuleSoft test suite.
Good exposure or experience to backend testing with databases, SQL scripting experience
CI/CD pipeline implementation from QE perspective
