We're hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an installation company based in Stockport. What will you be doing as a Mechanical Design Engineer?

* Taking responsible for specifications, mechanical design, P&ID drawings, detail drawings, general arrangements, and equipment schedules

* Leading mechanical design on projects

* Providing design support on overseas activities

* Technical calculations and assessments, including safety assessments

* Supporting Sales and Projects teams

What do you need?

* A minimum qualification to HNC/D or degree qualified in mechanical engineering, with a focus on generation

* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in successful technical management and development of Energy Projects

* Be a competent Mechanical Engineer with experience in power generation, pipework and ventilation design, CDM and health & safety

* Effective IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and experience using AutoCAD 3D or equivalent

* Full UK driving licence
