Our client, a software development agency specializing in web and mobile app development, is seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer with expertise in React / Next.js and Node.js to join their team.

This role will be focused on a single client account for the foreseeable future, contributing to the development and maintenance of a collection of JavaScript-based applications with a core monolith & a few supporting microservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to develop high-quality applications and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

* Work collaboratively with designers, developers, and stakeholders to create high-quality web applications using React/Next.js and Node.js

* Write efficient, maintainable, and clean code that adheres to industry best practices

* Develop and maintain APIs using Node.js and integrate them with front-end components

* Ensure code quality and consistency through participation in code reviews

* Work on multiple assignments simultaneously and meet varying deadlines

* Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and best practices by continuously learning

Requirements:

* At least 3 years of experience in JavaScript development

* Expertise in React/Next.js and Node.js

* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)

* Experience with Git version control system

* Familiarity with TypeScript is preferred but not required

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* A strong portfolio/Github profile demonstrating proficiency
