PSR Solutions are working with a very well-established, tier 1 contractor who are looking to add a Site Manager to their already flourishing team. The position advertised is an excellent opportunity working with a family ran main contractor, who have been in operation for over 100 years. As a permanent employee of the company this would be ideal for someone interested in working on already secured, planned large-scale projects in the west yorkshire region of the UK.

The project on which the successful candidate will be working on is a large-scale social housing development, valued in excess of £30m. The site is a regeneration of a considerable land acreage which will see the implementation of affordable housing units, ranging from 2 - 4 bedrooms, as well as multiple bungalows.

The role will involve reporting to contracts managers, overseeing day to day operations of a project as well as overcoming any issues that may arise. Time management and leadership skills are essential in ensuring a projects life cycle is completed efficiently and to the best possible standard.

Role and duties:

Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to more senior members
Referral to design drawings to ensure efficiency of programme delivery.

Experience/Qualifications:

SMSTS
CSCS
1st AID
Excellent people skills
Strong communication skills
