Pyramid8 is delighted to be supporting a local building services group, that’s in its third decade of trading. As an established firm and a leader in its industry, its portfolio boasts several high street retails brands throughout the U.K. Due to business growth, they are seeking an Shopfitting or Construction Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Wakefield.
As a Construction Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Preparing preliminary cost estimates and plans of development projects
* Preparing financial statements at regular intervals during work period
* Management of sub-contractor accounts
* Advice on cost estimates in regard to design development
* Organising calling off tenders
* Settling final project payments
To be considered for the Construction Quantity Surveyor role you must have:
* Experience ideally within a shopfitting/retail background
* Attained HMD in Building Surveying
* High numeracy levels and commercial awareness
* Be IT proficient in Microsoft products
In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary of between £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, along with a pension, health cover and 22 + Bank Holidays annual leave. This is a hybrid role working three days in the office and 2 days at home
