This is a fantastic Interim Senior Accountant position with a global manufacturing / engineering business.

You will be someone who possesses diverse experience in both analysis and accounting and who can flex where needed. My clients rely on MS Excel extensively and need someone with advanced Excel knowledge and experience in financial forecast modelling with Excel highly valued for this role.

Analyse financial statements, prepare reports and make recommendations to management.
Ensure financial business processes are in compliance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Generate, forecast and analyse trends in sales, finance and other areas of business to assist in financial planning.
Participate in the monthly close process by generating various journal entries, preparing required reconciliations, and analytically reviewing specific general ledger accounts for accuracy and proper valuation.
Perform annual internal audits, identifying inadequate, inefficient, or ineffective internal controls and recommends improvements.
Confirm that book closings are accomplished within an acceptable time schedule.
Prepare monthly forecast and bridge analysis for the P&L.
Analyse reports and/or corrects multiplicity accounting fluctuations to ensure proper decision making.This is a 9 month FTC paying between £50,000 - £55,000. You should be fully qualified or be qualified by vast experience within a manufacturing environment.
