Commercial Manager

Salary: £60,000 + DOE

Location: Bristol

Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with award-winning Contractor providing services to the Housebuilding industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to identify and manage lucrative construction projects to completion.

The Role:

Identifying lucrative projects with the Operations team
Contract and tender negotiation and cost estimates
Prepare CVRs and identify and commercial risks to projects
Maintain solid relationships with all customers
Manage all commercial and financial aspects of contracts, including procurement, invoicing and payment with budgets and maximising value in mind
Procurement of materials, managing billing process and any credit/debtor responsibilities
Weekly reporting from site with progress and cost information
Monthly reporting on project profitability

Requirements:

A clean UK Driving Licence
Ability to travel and meet with clients
Self-motivated attitude
Construction background - particularly Housebuilding
Technical background - experience with estimating, surveying, process management etc
Strong project management skills
IT Skills - particularly Excel and ERP systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different departments, subcontractors etc
Enthusiastic attitude and commercial drive
