Looking to strengthen their internal repair business with the recruitment of a well qualified electronic engineer. 

The Role: 

As an electronic engineer, you will be working independently in a small team of electronic engineers repairing a wide range of equipment from the manufacturing industry. 

Based from high tech offices in Aldridge, West Midlands. 

£27k-£34k, plus 5% bonus, pension, healthcare and benefits package 

Repair work will involve fault finding, individual component level repair and testing. 

Typically this will be things like, Machine Tool Systems - PLC’s - Servo Drives - Servo Motors - Monitors-VDU’s - AC Drives - DC Drives – TV & General Domestic Brown Goods. 

Flexible hours of work. 

An interest in electronics. 

An understanding of the theory and concepts for electronic circuitry and systems. 

Practical experience of an electronic repair based industry. 

The Ideal Person: 

Experience fault finding and reverse engineering electronic equipment to component level using oscilloscopes, meters and other diagnostic equipment. 

Previously worked as a Bench Engineer or Electronic Engineer. 

A willingness to learn new skills on the job in the field of electronic engineering. 

A desire to work in an exciting and challenging environment. 

Repair work will involve fault finding, individual component level repair and testing. 

Higher education qualification required in the realm of Electrical and Electronic engineering.
