We have an excellent opportunity to join a local company who have a strong ethos of providing their customers with a top rate service. They are now looking to employ a Service Estimator to the existing team.

Experience:

* Experience in a range of business situations

* 2-5 years’ experience in the fire and security industry in a sales / estimating / customer facing / technical role

* Driven and self-motivated

* Demonstrate an ability to understand matters of a financial nature and conform to budgetary constraints.

* Ability and desire to learn the legal and regulatory compliance for the Fire Industry

* Good understanding of PC software (Excel/Word/Outlook)

* Good written, oral and numerical skills. Excellent telephone manner

* Excellent organisational skills, to deal with many client opportunities and requirements

* Ability to work as a team member, but on own when required

Key Responsibilities:

* Research and preparation of quotes relating to maintenance contracts and remedial repair works

* Focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction

* Identifying where additional surveying of sites is required and visiting them or arranging a visit to gather more information

* Use company standard format and costing tools

* To acquire orders and achieve target sales

* To help develop new maintenance sales opportunities by supporting colleagues

* Prompt response to both internal and external enquiries

* Undertake admin duties relevant to the job
