Basic Salary: £110,000 to £150,000
£7,000 car allowance

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an upcoming, fast-moving organisation that provides high-speed networks to homes and businesses. They are looking for an experienced Operations Director/Head of Operations to help drive the business forward through continuous improvement and succession planning in order to scale up and strategically improve processes and procedures.
The Role: Operational Improvement Director
This is an exciting and varied role that allows you to collaborate with various departments and areas across the business. You will be responsible for:
Creating and implementing operational improvement and strategies;
Driving the day-to-day operations forward by ensuring all policies, values, investment plans and targets are being met;
Build relationships and work with key stakeholders, leaders, and external partners to identify needs and deliver effective solutions;
Mentor, coach and develop the capabilities of the Senior Management Team, by driving best practice methodologies and processes;
Developing approaches and performing data analysis to identify areas for improvement through assessing performances and creating proposals;
Analysing project budgets, processes, costs, time frames, and roadblocks; using a strategic drive to implement more efficient processes to reduce time and costs;
Improving the validity and quality of data and IT systems for effective daily use;
Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to prioritise work;
Ability to immediately resolve any issues in an appropriate and timely manner;
Recommend and implement operational improvements whilst always maintaining high quality;
Develop, implement, and execute short and long-term objectives and goals;
Always ensure a high level of morale, communication, and professionalism across the business.
The Candidate: Operational Improvement Director
The successful candidate needs to be an established Operational Improvement Leader who can jump straight into the role and is process driven. You should also have:
5+ years of experience as an Operational Improvement Director, Continuous Improvement Director, Operations Director.
5+ years of experience in successfully leading a large team within the construction, infrastructure, telecoms, rail, or nuclear is essential.
Hands on experience improving processes and achieving business growth.
Education to degree level or relevant experience.
Six Sigma, relevant qualifications or strong experience in creating/implementing strategic improvements and data analysis.
The ideal candidate should live in or near one of the following locations: Manchester, Salford, Sale, Stretford, Urmston, Wythenshawe, Stockport, Altrincham, Eccles, Irlam, Cadishead, Partington, Lymm, Birchwood, Warrington, Culcheth.
