Lead Radiographer - Private Hospital

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Position: CT Lead Radiographer
Service: General Hospital
Care: CT Scanning
Salary: £27,500- £43,000 per annum (band 7) - Salary will be pro rata'd to part time hours.
Hours: full time / Part time 22.5 to 30 hours available
Contract type: Permanent
About the hospital;

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CT Lead Radiographer to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Radiographer to join their friendly imaging team on a permanent basis. The hospital boasts modern and state-of-the-art facilities including a specialises care centre, a brand new endoscopy suite and recently refurbished operating theatres. The service provides treatments for a range of cancers , rapid access breast clinic and a Haematuria Clinical. The team are passionate about the high quality care they provide and looking for a like minded Radiographer to join the team. As CT Lead Radiographer you will work alongside the MRI lead to support the Radiology Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the CT list

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as a CT Lead Radiographer and will be responsible for the following;

Providing highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients
Making informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required
Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
Working across a varied and challenging caseload
Liaise with consultants ands make sure all staff are following protocol, supervising and running the department smoothly
Who we're looking for

Valid HCPC registration with no restrictions
At least 3 years CT radiographer experience
Degree (BSc Honours in Radiography or equivalent)
Post graduate experience in imaging in the UK
Excellent communication skills
Team player
Flexible and adaptable
