National Account Manager – FOOD/FMCG Non-Branded

Are you a National Account Manager who is skilled in growing existing accounts? Someone who can forge collaborative relationships, bring on new customers and nurture them into significant National Accounts?

The company is well established in their field, with a strong retail base of customers but has a number of B2B manufacturing accounts that have been left to ‘tick over’ with no one owning them and driving performance.

Many currently only buy a small number of products from their range, which with the right approach, gives you significant scope to make some quick wins whilst taking the time to understand their business and build the rapport to enable you to deliver long term, solution led, sales growth that mutually benefits you and your customer.

You will be solely responsible for this B2B sector but will have the resources of the internal sales team to help you deliver and manage the administration. Your role will be predominantly field based, on a national level, with visits to their North West site and home based in between.

You will be targeted on your sales and will earn bonus based on profitable growth, which will come by bringing on new large accounts as well as smaller independents to give a secure balance of margin and volume. As well as securing and growing the existing business, by raising the profile of externally with consistent and relevant communication.
