Atriumare currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a Deputy Manager to join a children's residential home based in Holbeach. The role will include involvement in all aspects of the home guiding the team and reporting to the Registered Manager.
- Working alongside the Registered Manager ensure that the home and staff operate in full accordance with all statutory, regulatory and standards requirements including:
· Children Acts 1989 & 2004
· Care Standards Act 2000
· Children's Homes Regulations 2015
- To supervise the staff team with direction and support from the Registered Manager and Service Manager
- To be responsible for ensuring that effective records are maintained in accordance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and associated Regulations and Standards.
- To work effectively with Commissioning Partners, Police, LSCB and Ofsted etc.
· A minimum of 5 years' experience working within a similar environment
· NVQ Level 4 in Management or Care or willing to work towards.
· Related knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures.
· Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic.
· A strong people manager with a hands on approach.
· Experience of budgets and rota's.
· Full driving licence is essential.
· You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins
