Territory Sales Manager - M4 Corridor - Bristol to Slough.
A leading supplier of IV therapy fluids, administration sets, needle free systems and other infusion therapy products.
To act as an ambassador for the business, products, services and relationships. To conduct day to day business development and sales activities through established key contacts and ability to form relationships with relevant clinical and procurement teams. Supporting the growth of all business activities.
Responsible for business development and customer support activity in the UK within your region. IV access medical devices, pharmacy products with devices and other products
Working with the business support team in management of customers. All tender work within the regional business managers area. Show interest, participate to the pre-tender meeting, prepare recommendation for the business plan in that region, make recommendations on tender prices using market intelligence.
To work in conjunction with UK country manager with regards to the implementation of the national business Strategy and any product developments to secure business outcomes.
Create a monthly Pipeline progress report to the business manager on activities for the month.
Responsible for the management of all Exhibitions & symposiums in the business managers region.
Responsible for overseeing product rollouts / new product launches within the regional business managers area.
Continuing to develop the key business relationships.
Management of the complete range of IV consumables and fluids within your region.
Deal with first line customer issues, any product issues if they occur.
Responsible for managing the regional managers Support Budget for business activities.
The role will also involve field visits for a minimum of 3.5 days a week, visiting customer and key opinion leaders to help move the business forward at all times.
Key contacts MUST be maintained within your region and at a national level.
Use your current network of contacts and KOL’s to continue building business success.
Responsible for forecasting new current business and any opportunities for new products. (As well as monthly product forecasting for UK region with the Country manager).
Responsible for trialling new products in the business managers region & providing detailed reports on user assessment and then recommendations for next steps and activities needed.
Wide ranging selling and business development experience at multiple levels.
A proven and demonstratable track record of successful business development results
Self-organized and highly motivated positive – can-do attitude
Pride in everything you do and the way you do this.
Efficient and friendly nature with a big team working element to be evident.
Ideally a background in Needle Free and IV access consumables, medical devices, portfolio selling experience.
Ability to develop within the business as roles change and more opportunities are created.
Strong presentation skills
Ability to negotiate and manage people at all levels of the organization from stores to directors and consultants level.
A willingness to help other members in the Team if you have experience that can help them.
A people person and competent business development manager
Demonstrated track record of success in keeping current business but developing new and additional sales of a wide range of products.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to form excellent relationships with internal and external customers of all levels.
Customer focused with a first-rate knowledge of the key accounts and the business development process.
Good telephone manner, with organizational excellence.
A reliable personality who can be trusted at all times to keep abreast of routine administration and adhere at all times to policies and procedures.
