Role: Senior Project Manager – SC Cleared

Location: Aldermaston, Reading (4 days/week on site - non negotiable)

IR35: Outside

Rate: £81.37/hr (Ltd)

Duration: 12 Months

Security Clearance: SC 

Key Requirements:

SC Clearance
Has demonstrable practical experience working on large complex projects
Has knowledge and experience managing project finances from a project management perspective.
Will require to work with project managers, commercial teams and project controls to Understand complex and diverging project data, with an ability to assimilate and convert into meaningful metrics and management reports
Working knowledge of the construction industry, in particular NEC Form of Contracts and their commercial basis
Excellent communication skills for reporting & communicating with staff
The main duties and responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager would be to:

Deliver assigned projects in accordance with requirements, operational constraints, time, cost and quality.
Lead and develop a team at a local level to deliver team and personal objectives safely and securely to meet our operational plans.
Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality
Manage projects with focus on Governance (compliance and reporting).
Management of project resources (people, money).
Lead the planning of the task/project or function.
Manage work as defined in the Work Authorisation Document (WAD).
Lead, support and initiate change against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
Lead, initiate and perform risk and opportunity identification and subsequent actions.
You’ll have:

Previous Senior Project Management experience
Graduate level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Membership of a relevant professional body.
Experience of delivering projects within time and budget
Finance background or knowledge from a project manager perspective
Evidence of project management competence e.g. APM qualifications.
Excellent communication skills for reporting & communicating with staff
Strong Stakeholder engagement and management abilities
Experience delivering in the construction phase of complex project
