Job Title: Plant Hire Sales Person

Job Summary:

Our client are a plant hire company based in Acton, Greater London, and we are currently seeking a Plant Hire Sales Person to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business by promoting our range of plant hire equipment to potential clients and building strong relationships with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promoting the range of plant hire equipment to potential clients

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers

• Conducting site visits to assess the plant equipment requirements of clients

• Providing clients with quotations and proposals for plant equipment hire

• Negotiating terms of hire agreements with clients

• Liaising with the plant fitters to ensure the equipment is available and ready for hire

• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of plant equipment and industry trends

• Attending industry events and trade shows to network and promote the company

Requirements:

• Previous experience in plant hire sales or a similar sales role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals

• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline

• Full driving license

Education/Training:

• Relevant sales or business qualification is desirable

• Additional training or certification in plant equipment or the construction industry is desirable
