Job role – Property Management/Administrator
Location – Ashford
Salary - £25k
Hours - Working from Ashford office 5 days a week to include some Saturdays.
To assist in taking incoming calls, to qualify landlords and tenants according to company policy and, in particular, in accordance with the information required.
Undertake duties in line with signed Terms of Business, particular focus on co-ordinating property maintenance.
Administration of the banking, to check that rents have been paid correctly from tenants and external suppliers, and process to the owed parties.
Chase any owed rent in accordance with the terms of business.
Liaise with contractors/outsourcing resources to ensure repair/maintenance works are carried out to a satisfactory standard and timescale and in line with any guarantees/warranties.
Keep landlords up to date with any required work.
To obtain invoices from contractors make payments.
To balance and monitor the bank in-line with the software system and then to produce monthly reports.
Mediate and negotiate between the parties regarding the disposal of the deposit.
Administrative duties where needed, including tenancy paperwork, renewals, and inspections.
To actively promote and canvass for new business to attract new landlords and tenants, window and boards are included in this.
To cover other aspects of the business when requested by senior management.
