Domestic Assistants / Cleaners

Stokesley or Leyburn, North Yorkshire

£19,675.06 FTE / £10.19 per hour (01/04/2023 pay award pending)

Kirkwood Hall - 7hrs per week - £3,719.36 per annum

Town Close – 16hrs per week - £8,501.39 per annum

We have opportunities available for two Domestic Assistants / Cleaners to join our Extra Care team on a part time basis.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for providing an efficient and effective cleaning service to designated areas of our Extra Care Scheme to agreed standards within the various communal, office and residential settings as directed.

You’ll work mainly with older, vulnerable people in their own homes providing a cleaning and domestic support service which includes laundry, ironing and bed changing. You’ll also clean in communal areas such as toilets, bathrooms, corridors and lounges.

What are we looking for:

Previous cleaning experience

Excellent housekeeping skills

*

Customer care and good interpersonal skills

*

An understanding of COSHH Regulations with regard to use and storage of cleaning chemicals

*

The ability to work on own initiative

*

Experience of working with vulnerable people would be desirable
