Service Manager – Learning Disabilities

£33,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience, qualifications and responsibilities)

Blakely Scott are proud to be exclusively partnering with one of the UKs leading providers of specialist care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury and mental health needs.

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join the organisation on a full-time permanent basis, taking over a portfolio of well running supported living services providing quality care to up to 23 adults, at present.

The Role

This role will include overall hands on management of 4 supported living services, each one with a strong and stable staff team. This group of services boasts the lowest staff turnover rate within the region, therefore staff development will be a crucial element to this role, as the organisation is keen on supporting staff in career progression and acquiring further qualifications.

You will ensure the services are running in line with CQC regulations and that the highest quality of person centred care is being delivered in each service. You will be a visible manager, with strong relationships developed with both staff, clients and their families, the wider business and external parties such as the local councils.

Essential

Service Manager experience within supported living or residential services for adults with learning disabilities

NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.

Passionate and driven leader able to motivate and inspire a dispersed staff team

Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and able to run multiple services in live with regulations

Full UK Driving License and own car to travel to services

Location

These supported living services are located in Watford and Borehamwood, with another service in Welwyn Garden City. Ideal locations for people to commute from include St Albans, Hatfield, Bushey, Bricket Wood, Potters Bar, Aldenham and surrounding areas.

Interviews

There will be a two stage interview process for this role. The first will take place over Microsoft Teams and the second will take place face to face with the Service Lead.
