Do you have all round DIY or property maintenance experience?

Our client is seeking a Property Restoration Technician to join them on a full time permanent basis working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday. This role will be to cover the Plymouth & Truro areas.

As Property Restoration Technician, you will have be responsible for stripping out properties following fire or flood damage, setting up dehumidifiers & heat mats, chemical washes, carpet cleaning etc. Preparing reports for insurance purposes, dealing with customers face to face.

To be considered for the role of Property Restoration Technician, you will have a background in building / construction / DIY, you will have strong customer service skills and will have strong empathy for the customers situations. You will have a full clean UK driving licence and will be PC literate for preparing & submitting reports. You will need to be physically fit.

The role could require occasional overnight stays where you will receive a food and hotel allowance.

Our clients offers a starting salary from £21,000 (this will be for someone with basic DIY / maintenance skills that can be trained in to the role) up to £30,000 (which would require someone that has fire and flood restoration experience), pension, gateway progression, bonus, company van which will be used for business use and can be used for personal use too.
