The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Management Information (MI), Funding and Compliance Manager to join the MIS Department, working as part of a new management team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
This is an exciting time to join an new, ambitious and responsive Management team for the Department, supporting our newly appointed Assistant Principal to shape an outstanding Information Service for the Group. We are seeking to recruit an experienced manager or MIS specialist who is ready for their first management role, bringing expert knowledge, experience and energy to the team.
The Job :
You will provide expert knowledge to the Group in relation to funding and compliance for Further and Higher Education programmes. Leading an excellent customer and data centric Further and Higher Education (F&HE) MIS service, you will develop and implement robust, efficient and funding body compliant processes to manage, track and report F&HE recruitment and funding performance data, providing key and operational performance information to the Group and external stakeholders.
Key accountabilities include-
* Managing the Group MIS team for F&HE and associated processes, ensuring Group strategic and improvement objectives are implemented and embedded.
* Overseeing the curriculum planning process and course master file for the delivery of F&HE provision, and validation of plans against business planning objectives.
* Leading on the production of regular ILR files and external HE Data Returns, managing errors to ensure data returns and funding reports are accurate, complete and compliant, and ensuring return deadlines are met.
* Working closely with the Head of MIS Systems and Business Intelligence to design, and implement effective business systems, including the Group F&HE student records systems and associate reports.
* Monitoring and report Group F&HE performance data, trends and forecasts, supporting the quality, performance and business reviews agenda.

We are looking for an experienced MIS professional with the knowledge and experience to provide expert oversight of our Further and Higher Education funding, returns and compliance to the Group. The successful candidate should have extensive experience of further and/or higher education MIS, funding and compliance, and the use of systems to drive improvements in data quality, service and outcomes.
