This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join a successful Engineering Consultancy firm. Our client is offering a permanent role based near Bristol, with the opportunity to work on high profile projects.

To be considered for this Mechanical Engineer role you will:

Have a BEng(Hons) Degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant degree
Have experience dealing directly with clients
Have excellent communication skills
Have the ability to use own initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Have excellent report writing skills
Have relevant work experience
Be Proficient in the use of IT systems
Have Good organisation and multi-tasking skills
Be willing to learn and develop new skillsWorking as a Mechanical Engineer you will:

Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality
Maintain, enhance and apply both design and technical knowledge ensuring production of high quality drawings
Prepare Mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings and any other contract documents
Liaise with clients, professional organisations, contractors, suppliers, sub contractors and other designOur client is offering a competitive starting salary and benefits package
