Position: Estates caretaker

I am currently seeking caretakers to cover various new build, social housing estates in the East London area: Mile end andb Barking riverside (2x static posts)

The role is with a established company with 1,000s of homes that they manage/own across London and who are currently looking to expand there team the company has excellent career prospects for those wanting to further themselves.

Hourly rate: £13.20 PAYE including holiday pay

Responsibilities:

Communal cleaning - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, litter picking etc. Basic repairs/maintenance -changing door handles, handrails, replacing light bulbs Reporting any anti-social behaviour Dealing with contractors Working to a schedule/rota for the bin stores making sure they are ready for collection Clearing bin stores Health and safety on site making sure your work space is a safe environment for you and the residents

Up to date DBS/CRB check is essential, this must be dated within 1 year, if you don't have one you can either apply for one online or get in touch with me to discuss further.

Previous experience as a caretaker is preferred but not essential, I am looking for someone with a can do attitude to work, you will need previous experience cleaning, customer service, good communication skills, able to send emails and read and write in English and be health and safety conscious
