Multi Trade Operative

Location: Newent, Gloucestershire

Salary: £29,500

The Vacancy

Permanent, Full time, 40 hours a week

We are currently seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to provide an efficient responsive repair, maintenance and refurbishment service, ensuring correct quality of work to enable objective achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete all allocated (multi-trade) jobs in time and within budget.

*

Achieve Team SLAs as defined by organisational requirements

*

To work within agreed objectives and time scales to meet the performance criteria

*

Proactively assist in the successful development of IT systems to improve Customer Service delivery

*

Compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements

*

Responsible for ensuring the correct quality of work and taking appropriate action where necessary.

*

Complete work of other trades when reasonably required.

About you

*

Demonstrable practical skills in building repair, maintenance and refurbishment to domestic properties, particularly in social housing.

*

Ability to deal sensitively with a wide variety of types of customers and provide an individual service

*

Housing Sector standards and regulations relating to the repair and maintenance of Social Housing.

*

Experience of using integrated housing repairs/maintenance systems

*

Good communication skills.

*

Primary trade plumbing or carpentry

*

Must be multi skilled and have experience of working in void properties

*

Experience of working for a housing association

*

Experience of working with a PDA

*

Sound knowledge of health and safety familiar to area

*

Full driving licence is required
