The role

We are now looking for a 1st Line ICT Technician to work as part of the Service Desk and IT Support team to support the company employees in their use of the business IT systems.

The ICT Service Desk is responsible for supporting our 3000+ users over 100+ sites. This ranges from supporting and troubleshooting their ICT systems\applications via efficient remote support to all business users. The team is responsible for resolving any ICT-related faults and requests quickly and efficiently, which includes a broad variety of queries.

Key accountabilities

Provide effective ICT support across all business users both onsite and remotely.

Providing end user, remote support
To ensure that all incidents are handled efficiently within SLA.
Working with customers and internal teams to ensure operational and service excellence is delivered and maintained.
Supporting and maintaining Office 365 applications.
Supporting and maintaining bespoke applications.
Escalate ICT issues outside the technical parameters of 1stLine support capabilities to the appropriate support team.
Provide exceptional customer service to all business users via phone, email & walk-ins.Key Qualities

Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
Proactive approach to work and to continuous improvement.Works within a team and assists others, where required.

Skills & experience

1 years' experience working on a technical service desk.
Working in a customer facing environment.
Active Directory administration.
Commercial network experience.
Knowledge of the MS Office suite 2016 & 365.
Knowledge of MS Windows operating system up to 10 Enterprise.The ideal candidate should be customer focused and the ability to communicate confidently and clearly to customers both face to face and over the telephone.
