Shrewsbury Colleges Group is Shropshire's largest college. SCG is a designated sixth form college offering sixth form college terms and conditions. 1,800 A-Level students are taught at our Welsh and English Bridge Campuses in the centre of Shrewsbury with our London Road Campus offering a broad range of vocational and higher-level courses to (phone number removed) year olds, 4000 adult students, 350 HE students and 950 apprentices. The college was graded as good with outstanding features in November 2021 and enjoys 'good' financial health. Teacher - English (A Level)
Salary: Up to £44,256 p.a. pro rata. 0.6 FTE. Permanent.

Based at English Bridge campus.

Our A Level English department teaches English Literature, English Language and combined English Language and Literature to around 350 students, as well as English GCSE resit and Functional Skills to around 30 students. The successful candidate will typically teach on two courses in any year and contribute to enriching the student experience outside the classroom.
