Role: R&D Lab Technician

Rate: £30-£40p/h
 
Location – Loughborough
 
My client is looking to hire a highly skilled R&D Lab Technician  to join their Research & Development Team as they look to establish new technology for the water industry.
 
I have an exciting role with a never done before type of technology heavily based around R&D with regards to Piping, thermal Coupling, and Fluid Dynamics.
 
The role entails:
 
You will be responsible for test trial support in a vast field of applications ranging from:

Small-signal electrical signals to fundamental material properties
Extensive knowlege of compostie matierials
experiments involving gas laws and properties
significant experience in an R&D Test or Workshop laboratory environment.
instrumentation setup and calibration
sample preparation
Hands-on experience with machine tools is preferable i.e microscopy polishing of glass and composites.
Data capture, and logging. 
Ideally with 5 years R&D laboratory. Extensive experience working in a diverse R&D workshop environment.
