CNC Machinist (Miller)

£11-£17 per hour (2-shift pattern)

* 25% shift allowance for nightshift

* On-site parking

* Early finish Friday on dayshift

* Friday off on night shift

The Position

An opportunity has arisen for a CNC machinist due to the high workload this engineering company has coming in!

Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist

* Liaising with designated Team Leader to ensure daily requirements are met

* Programming Heidenhain control systems

* Working to a Production Schedule delivered by the Team Leader, ensuring Target Times are hit on a regular basis.

* Able to interpret engineering drawings and produce complex parts to an exceptional standard

Skills & experience of a CNC Machinist

* Ability to set the machine, CNC programming experience desirable

* Fanuc control system advantageous

* Experience running CNC Millers, Doosan/Fannuc control highly desired

* Must be willing to work shifts (2-week rotation)

* Self-motivated – can work independently and autonomously when required
