We are currently looking for a self-motivated, professional, and experienced Clerk of Works to work with our Gloucester based client.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
·To be able to advise the Project Manager on contractors working drawings against good practise for construction details
·To be familiar with the various trades and how they carry out their works.
·To attend and report at monthly Site Progress meetings.
·To produce and circulate Snagging lists prior to completion
·To check all snagging works are complete and advise Contract Administrator of their status..
·To make inspection of potential defects and Latent Defects as they are reported by the Building user and deal with the main Contractor to ensure rectification.
 
Special Conditions
·You will need to hold a current full driving licence which is valid for driving in the UK
·This position is subject to a DBS check(Disclosure and Barring Service check)

The ideal candidate will have
- Proven recent experience in a related field
- Good project management skills
- Good inter-personal and communication skills to provide a high-level of customer experience
- Budget management skills
- A knowledge of current Building Regulations
- The ability to prepare and submit a planning application Behavioural attributes
- Have a HNC/ONC or a degree or qualification in a relevant subject
- Possess membership of a related professional organisation (eg RIBA, RICS, CIOB, IMP, CIBSE)
