Hours - Monday to Thursday 7.30am until 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am until 12.30pm
Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Group HSE Manager. The successful candidate will be required to plan, direct, and coordinate HSE management activities within group to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. The role will be based at the Main Site in Weymouth and cover other sites in Lufton and Yeovil.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute HS&E plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
Prepare and enforce policies to promote a positive HS&E culture throughout the business.
Evaluate processes, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
Identify and conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
Monitor compliance to policies and laws through audits.
Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
Report on HS&E issues and statistics.
Communicate with appropriate regulatory bodies as required and within specified time scales.
Support change management processes, including facilities / plant / process enhancements.
Promoting a Preventative HSE Culture within the Business.
Oversee the identification and facilitation of Employee welfare projects and Occupational Health Screenings.
Skills and Experience:
NEBOSH Diploma 2 in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (minimum requirement).
Leadership and Management Diploma.
Deep understanding and demonstrated application of legal health and safety guidelines.
Experience and understanding of engineering, paint and surface treatment processes.
Experience in the implementation of ISO 14001, 45001, 50001.
Member of IOSH (or working towards) preferred.
