Legal Accountant
Full time, Permanent
Monday to Friday, 9-5
Up to £50,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced, qualified Accountant to join our Client on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for a qualified Accountant with an ACCA or similar qualification who posesses strong organisational and communication skills. You will be exposed to a whole range of accounting functions. This includes review and validation of relevant data and data sources, preparation of financial reports, information analysis, and provision of feedback.

Main duties and responsibilities:

General financial accounting tasks such as preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations
Revenue analysis and comparison to forecast
Development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures
Supporting the annual external statutory audit
Providing support on general revenue and payables queries
Assist in the production and creation of monthly financial reporting packs including management accounts and reports
Support & cover for the processing of the online Bacs & Chaps Payments plus receipt allocating to the client a/c.
Processing client to office transfers

Skills and Experience:

Strong organisational and communication skills.
Strong analytical, process improvement, and problem-solving skills.
Supervision and training of staff
Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts required
ACCA or similar qualification
Experience of Proclaim Software desirable but not essential
Salary negotiable dependent upon experience.
