Do you have 2 years plus experience in a procurement/buying environment dealing with overseas suppliers? Are you someone that is committed and motivated to achieve company goals and live up to expectations?

My client is on the lookout for a Procurement Manager with the responsibility of buying and sourcing products from overseas suppliers to meet customers' demands.

Day to Day duties include -

Leads and defines supply chain strategy
Lead on product & brand development and related market opportunities
Supplier relationship management including new supplier sourcing and synergistic procurement savings
Planning and defining procurement strategy linked to sales projections in mid to long-term
Drive operational efficiency in all parts of the supply chain
Ensure all environmental requirements are met within the supply chain
To ensure compliance with all performance and regulatory standards
Set sourcing and pricing strategy
Responsible for all cost, product and pricing within the ERP system and related reporting requirements
Lead the procurement, tendering and contract management for all goods and services
Represent the business commercially, both on oversees visits and supplier visits to the UK
Develop the procurement team and ensure clear succession plans

Must be CIPS or MCIPS qualified.
